Do you have a passion for helping children with autism thrive? Are you ready to join a clinician-owned team that values growth, professionalism, and teamwork? Triangle ABA is seeking a dedicated and reliable Licensed Psychologist to join our expanding team!

At Triangle ABA, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate ABA services that empower children and families throughout North Carolina. We pride ourselves on being clinician-founded and operated, meaning we understand the clinical work and what it takes to support our team on the ground.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform psychological assessments, including cognitive, developmental, and behavioral evaluations, using standardized tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales.
  • Diagnose ASD and co-occurring conditions (e.g., ADHD, anxiety disorders) based on DSM-5 criteria, integrating behavioral observations, parent/caregiver interviews, and test results.
  • Collaborate with ABA Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists to develop and refine individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed diagnostic reports, including findings, recommendations, and referrals for additional services (e.g., medication management or educational supports).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss assessment outcomes and ensure seamless integration into ABA therapy programs.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Provide consultation and training to ABA staff on diagnostic insights and behavioral indicators.
  • Stay current with best practices in ABA diagnostics through ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Passion for working with children with autism and supporting their families.
  • Strong communication, punctuality, and professional presence.
  • A team player mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in diagnostic assessments for neurodevelopmental disorders, with a focus on ASD.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting ABA-relevant diagnostic tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and their intersection with psychological diagnostics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible hourly schedule (typically 10-20 hours/week, with potential for more based on caseload).
Why Triangle ABA?
  • We’re clinician-owned, not investor-run, your work is respected and supported.
  • We prioritize transparency, trust, and quality care.
  • You’ll be part of a growing, supportive team making a real difference every day.
